Book Title

by The Author

This is a summary of the book, giving you a very brief overview of the plot.

400 pages

Ghost Story

ATOS Book Level: 5.3

These are standardised ratings which represent the difficulty of the book, based on average sentence length, average word length, and word difficulty level. So, for example, an ATOS level of 6.5 means that the text could likely be read by a child whose reading skills are at the level of a typical 6th year pupil during the fifth month of school.

ATOS LEVELS

THEME

This is where you'll find the main theme of the novel - similar to BBFC classification boxes on the back of old video sleeves. Good times. Here, they are represented with a standard icon. This is intended to give you an at-a-glance overview of the feel of a story, so you can tell if it's appropriate for your readers (or listeners).

COVER

They say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Whether you judge it or not, that's your business. I'm keeping well out of it. But, regardless, this is where you'll find a little sneak peak of the book cover.

PAGINATION

Knowing the number of pages in a book may help you decide if it's a sensible choice for a class read. A 100-page book will be over quite quickly, where as a 1000-page tome will run across multiple terms!
